Centella Asiatica is an ancient medicinal plant used in Ayurvedic and other South Asian medicines. It is recognized for its regenerative properties and as the “plant of longevity”.

The plant used in C27 formulas comes exclusively from Madagascar because it has a higher concentration of purified active ingredients (heterosides).

In addition, it is cultivated manually according to the climate and the seasons. The Centella “economy” contributes to the income of local populations (eco-commerce). A sustainable source, in line with the company's values.

They have been combined in higher ratios and concentrations and are not naturally present in the plant. Different concentration levels were tested before defining the exact and perfect ratios which revealed the regenerative and restorative power of the complex.

The CICA-MA2® complex was subjected to a battery of tests carried out on skin aging with a laboratory specializing in proteome research. Ex-vivos tests made it possible to demonstrate the extraordinary positive effect of the CICA-MA2® complex on this process with, on the one hand, the slowing down of carboxylation (oxidation) of the proteome. The skin proteome corresponds to all skin proteins such as collagens, keratins and laminins. These are called biomarkers of aging.
